  VOLUNTEERS WANTED  

The 355th Services Squadron has many opportunities for you to volunteer at a variety of events or in our facilities.  If you are interested please contact the facility volunteer POC listed below. Volunteers & POC's are required to track the hours for reporting & to receive credit.

Arts & Crafts

Volunteers at Arts & Crafts are mainly used in ceramics.  They can work anytime we are open. Volunteers are needed in the ceramic shop for pouring, cleaning & firing ceramics, as well as helping customers and giving instructions on painting techniques. Please contact us at 228-4385

 

Child Development Centers

Activities for volunteers: shelf building, grass mowing, putting together  new toys, move items as needed, rock spreading. Please contact:  Finley CDC 228-6653, DM CDC 228-6802

 

Community Center

Volunteers are always needed for events i.e. Tops in Blue, Starry Snowy Southwest Night, Oktoberfest, Day in the Park, X-Box Tournaments, Kids Day Run, Build-a-boat, Squadron Bed Races and at our other events throughout the year. Please contact us at 228-3500

 

DM Sports & Fitness Center

Activities for volunteers: fold towels, answer phones at customer service front desk. We need volunteers for the following events: Jan 2006-Best of the West basketball tournament, Jan, Feb & Mar 06 for Biathlon series, Apr 06 for Indoor triathlon, May Fitness month, Aug thru Nov 06- marathon prep series. Information, Tickets and Tours

Information, Tickets & Tours is looking for reliable, dynamic and enthusiastic airman with safe driving skills,  who would like to volunteer on taking day and/or out-of-state trips for the Davis-Monthan community.  The trips normally take place on weekends. For overnight  trips we provide free hotel stays for the volunteer drivers and we usually provide free admission for trips in relation with show or park admission. Veterinary Clinic
